With the AFL Masters National Carnival in Newcastle almost here, we wanted to share the details for our Vic Country Captain’s Run and plans for AFL Grand Final Day on Saturday 26 September. Albert Street gates open from 8:30 am This is our final opportunity for a light run together before the Carnival gets underway, and a chance to catch up with teammates before the week begins. A coffee van will be onsite for anyone needing a pre-training caffeine hit. AFL Grand Final: After the Captain’s Run, we’ll head to the Commonwealth Hotel to watch the Fremantle Dockers v Brisbane Lions AFL Grand Final together. 📍Commonwealth Hotel https://maps.app.goo.gl/XM1gLJvdAbCWwu6c8 🕐1:00–6:00 pm The venue will have beer pints at schooner prices, with bar and bistro meals available to purchase. It should be a great way to kick off Carnival week and spend some time together away from the footy field.
