VALE JIMMY “THE TURK” ONTURK AFL Masters Vic Country joins the wider Masters football community in mourning the sudden passing of Jimmy Onturk. As a proud Geelong Masters player, Jimmy shared a strong connection with Vic Country. Geelong was previously part of the Vic Country competition, and many of our players will remember playing alongside Jimmy, lining up against him and sharing time with him through Masters football and National Carnivals. Jimmy was larger than life, always welcoming and someone you were genuinely pleased to see around the footy. His warmth, humour and unforgettable smile left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Our heartfelt condolences and thoughts are with Jimmy’s wife Emma, his children, family, friends, teammates at Geelong Masters and everyone who is grieving this tremendous loss.
